Blique by Nobis proves that industrial architecture can feel both monumental and inviting. Originally designed in the 1930s by celebrated Swedish architect Sigurd Lewerentz as a warehouse for Philips, the building has been carefully reinvented by Wingårdhs, who preserved its powerful concrete structure while introducing a contemporary architectural language. Together with a curving 1990s extension, the two buildings create an engaging dialogue between different periods of Swedish architecture. History remains visible.
