Brutalism with Soul

Rather than disguise the building’s architectural origins, designers Parts and Labor Design embraced them. Exposed concrete, generous structural volumes, and clean modernist lines remain intact, softened with warm timber, amber lighting, vintage furniture, handcrafted textiles, and an ever-changing collection of contemporary art. The lobby feels less like a reception desk and more like a creative living room, anchored by a sunken lounge where guests, locals, artists, and entrepreneurs naturally gather throughout the day. The atmosphere is intellectual without ever becoming intimidating.

The guestrooms continue the hotel’s thoughtful philosophy. Mid-century-inspired furniture, reclaimed wood, natural materials, and calming tones of ochre, olive, and charcoal create warm, understated spaces that encourage guests to slow down. Every room features a vinyl record player alongside a curated selection of records and books exploring art, culture, politics, and spirituality—small details that reinforce the hotel’s creative identity without feeling forced.
